 Worship is at the heart of everything we do at Whitfield Presbyterian Church. It defines us as God's children and inspires us to live daily as representatives of our God.
Worship at Whitfield is a blend of traditional and contemporary elements. On various Sundays, we feature a Traditional Choir, a Praise and Worship team, and a Gospel group. Music is selected, not by the year it was written or which hymn book it may or may not be in, but rather for its relevance to the overall worship service. Preaching is Scripturally based, challenging, inspiring and engaging. Most of all, worship at Whitfield is designed to be fun, engaging, and give glory and honor to our God for His love for us in Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP: Summer Schedule: All ages worship together, with nursery for children under 5.
During the school year, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade participate in Children's Church each Sunday morning at 10:30. During this time, the elements of worship are taught in an age-appropriate format. Children sing, learn scripture, hear a story, and have an opportunity to respond to the morning's lesson.
Youth 6th grade and older participate in our regular worship service with the rest of the adult community. These youth have the opportunity to serve by assisting in leadership of Children's Church. |
